Thursday = Thor's day

Hi guyz, I know its been sometime(typical reason: I was busy. LOL)
Well here you go, yesterday I watched THOR and Yes! BOY was I excited. Adopted movies as it is, always makes it a point to change the characters they adopt from book,comics, cartoons and whatever not! But here's the thing, in the end we are going to have to decide did we like that change?

As for this movie, although its sad to see that THOR the MIGHTY, who always wears his helmet(ps:i forgot the name,LOL), with the power of Thunder and Lighting, The only GOD who hates war and the only Norse GOD who is always humble being shown in ways I was never expecting! In the movie, they portray THOR as Brute, Arrogant, War lover and many more which is true, but that THOR is only present when THOR goes into warrior madness. Nevertheless, THOR had a simple plot and a simple story line which is the rivalry between THOR and his Stepbrother, LOKI.

Now lets get to the beginning. The starting of THOR was a bit of slow hyperness. But as the movie played on THOR became better. All the characters in the movie were not good enough to match the comic books one. But I solely blame it on the director for not developing his characters well enough emotionally and mentally. The most painful character was LOKI! In the comics is THE VILLAIN who was so slick,so evil that in his presence you would surely feel the world is at an end! But in this movie THOR, LOKI looks like a circus boy who has been given the role to play villain(ps: I am not saying circus people cannot become great villains because the best villain of all time is THE JOKER!). Natalie Portman who plays Jane Foster, was well ermmm, beautiful and radiant(sorry guyz, i had to mention it! LOL). The other characters had their moments too but they were not well developed.

The movie has its jokes, and it was good. The CGI effects fo the movie was extremely good. Although we didn't get the chance to see THOR using his Thunder and Lightning but at least we were able to see a few glimpses of it, which was beautiful. The realm of Asgard was so beautiful that I wished they would have showed more of Asgard. The simple plot and the simple twist in the movie was the best moments of the movie. At least the rivalry between THOR and LOKI was good. But one of the most disappointing thing in the movie is, THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH FIGHTS!!!! It was like watching a British film where they keep talking and talking with very less action! But in the end I guess, its these things that makes you feel wanting more of this movie THOR! If you are a comic fan of THOR i suggest you watch it, because it ain't as bad as Harry Potter, in fact its 10 times better than Harry Potter.LOL! If you are not a comic fan, you will surely enjoy the movie, erm well like I said you will be wanting more of the movie. LOL!
PS: Don't forget to eat your popcorn while watching the movie!
