Marvel of the Month: Everyone Needs A Hero!

Now, I know what you are thinking the moment you saw the title and the picture. Don't worry, I will not bore you down about how the comics is and how the hero saves the day and about how strong he is and the wonders he does. Instead, I am going for a different approach! For a fact, I am actually outlining what I am going to present on my Presentation Class on Tuesday.

Firstly, what does a hero mean? Well, lets just simply say that a hero is somewhat of an Icon,a Role model,a person who has performed heroic acts,a male/female lead actor of a movie. It can be defined as you please. For me right now, a hero is defined as an icon/role model and person who does heroic acts.

Let me give you a few example of heroes according to my definitions. Abraham Lincoln,Mahatma Gandhi, Johnny Depp, Lionel Messi, Iron Man, Spiderman, The Flash and many more superheroes and internationally recognized global icons. Allow me, to pinpoint to the one thing that they all have in common; they INSPIRE! You can simply argue the fact that Superheroes don't exist and they are just made for fantasy but let me tell you this, we are seeing heroes everyday! 'Who is that hero?' is the question popping in your brain right now as you are reading. Well that means you have got to exile yourself for a few minutes and think over that question till you find the answer(ps:when i say exile yourself alone means it is for you to think about that question not to do something else! you know what I mean!) Why is it so important for you to identify your hero? Why?

Everyday, we hear or read or see lots of things happening like disasters, wars, famine, crimes and what do we do once we hear or read it? We feel pity(some pray for those poor souls), we learn to prepare ourselves for it, and we are always on the lookout for our self and those close to us. We practically start having the feeling of FEAR! When FEAR starts to creep slowly in every single one of our cells, we start loosing our trust on others and eventually we become selfish. Yes, what I said is mean and it might have caused an intangible harm to you.(If it hurts anyone I am very sorry, sometimes the truth is a bitter pill to swallow and I would also like to clarify that that my this message suits most people) Let me give you a perfect example, when someone is being beaten up by a bunch of thugs with some sticks what do we do? Most of us tend to close our eyes and just walk-off. Why? Because you don't want to end up like that victim. Than, there are a few who would go out of sight and alert the authorities and wait until those authorities arrive and meanwhile watching that victim suffer. My question is simple? Why don't you stand up? Why don't you tell them to leave their victims alone? You might say that, they would attack you and you are scared(FEAR!) or you might say that you are outnumbered or you might say that we should lead a life of better man by going through the way of peace and let the authorities handle those bad-asses! Let me ask you something again, what is the point in leading a life of a better man if you can't even stand your ground for whats right? and than, there are the others who would argue and say why should we bother and hurt ourselves? I just want to ask you back this question; if you were being abused by a group of thugs or its someone very close to you and you realize that people who were there; mostly opted for a walk-off and while some alerted authorities but none came to give an immediate aid. How would you feel? Are you still going to be okey until the authorities arrive and are you going to feel happy that someone instead of giving you immediate aid called the authorities and waited for them to help you. How would you feel?

Won't you feel angry? Won't you feel frustrated and won't you have the impression that the society is a coward? and won't YOU WONDER WHY IS THE SOCIETY SUCH COWARD? with all the things we have achieved as humans, and for all the time we have been moving forward why are we such cowards? The biggest question here why? Why this, why that? WHY????

Simple answer: The society needs inspiration! We need inspiration and I am proud to say that I have my inspiration! My inspiration are my heroes! My heroes not only teach me the values of life and heroism, my heroes teach me to stand my ground no matter the cost for the right thing! I am INSPIRED by my heroes to do what is right! and yet there are those skeptics who would ask me why is inspiration so important?

A good example is Mahatma Gandhi. He stood up for his country, he held his chin high up for his people and in the end with his first stand! His fellow countrymen were inspired and stood up together to get independence. In the end they got their independence. While you all may also know that he was shot to death too. But let me tell you this, not all heroes have to sacrifice themselves to inspire a nation and lets just say that, you are about to meet darkness then, why not hug it as your bride and move on? While you would surely be known for your heroics and your legacy.

Than we also have daily heroes such as our mother or father and etc. You don't need me to tell you what they have done and how much it is important to you. But let me tell you this, a man without inspiration is a corpse! What do we get by having inspirations? We get more heroes to look up to. We get to lead a life of a better man.

And that's why everyone needs a hero! We need inspiration, we need to have someone to look up to so that we would be inspired, and if we truly are to lead a life of better man than we should live a life of a hero. Should you be inspired you would be amazed by the outcome you will achieve!

Finally,I am proud to share my heroes. They are the Avengers from the Marvel comics. They inspire me, they drive me to lead a better life. They inspire me to stand up! Most of all, the Iron Man from the avengers makes me want to live like a FUTURIST! You may ask why I am so passionate about it? Because its one of the few things that inspires me the most in the world. It teaches me the values of life. Life is unfair and we are not perfect. But we as humans have to accept it and try to live a life which is near perfect. Therefore, my dream is to help other stand up for themselves and I want to INSPIRE them!
I want to be a HERO just like my HEROES!
