Red Riding Hood

As you can notice from the movie title they have removed the "little" out of it. So that they can distance themselves from the children fairy tale. Why is a good question? Firstly this movie ain't for kids(GOD,I loved saying it,LOL!). Secondly, the girl who is wearing the red hood ain't little. Thirdly, this movie involves werewolf, not wolf!

One thing is for sure, this movie is far more better than the epic slow motioned failure, Twilight and disaster movie, Sucker punch!

Simple plot, this village is being attacked by a wolf, werewolf! The villagers make a truce with the wolf and the truce is, the villagers must sacrifice their best farm animal every full moon. One day, a villager died and that made the villagers angry. They went to hunt the wolf and in the end they needed a priest's help to kill the wolf. (if i say anymore i would be giving away the twist and suspense,LOL).

The movie stars, with only a few handful actors. Gary Oldman was disappointing onscreen! His character was metaphorically foolish and mentally unstable! Amanda Seyfreid was much more better than Kirsten Stewart of Twilight. She was much more gorgeous and a far more better actor than the latter. As for the others, most of them were a bunch of unknowns, but the rivalry between Henry and Peter was a good one. It was interesting to be seen onscreen!

The movie had an okey script considering their budget and cast. the best part of the whole movie is whenever the Wolf appears. It gives you a feeling of terror!(hahahahahahaha). The CGI effects of the movie could have been better especially with the wolf tearing people apart! These type of movies are the ones that you can just watch for the sole purpose of fun, but even in that calss of movies this one is a one step ahead!Nevertheless, the movie was much more worthwhile than Twilight and Sucker Punch. Recommended for werewolf fanatics! Vampire(ps:twilight) haters! and mos of all those with big pockets who wants to watch movies for fun!
